Acuatico

Batangas is one of the most popular tourist destinations near Metro Manila.  It is home to some of the best resorts and hotels in the country including Acuatico Beach Resort which is located in Laiya, San Juan.  Acuatico is a three-hour drive from Manila.  It only accommodates a maximum number of 70 guests which makes them an exclusive luxury resort.  Their villas and rooms are modern Balinese-inspired.  Their facilities and amenities include a beach, a floating bar, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a breathtaking infinity edge pool.  Most of the reasons why people visit this place is to unwind and relax.  And I must say, this resort does their job really well.  From the very welcoming staff to the well-constructed layout and design of the resort.  This really is one of the most beautiful resorts in the area.

We availed the family suite that has connecting rooms and a private lanai.

Before eating dinner, we made the most out of our night there by spending it in the game room.  They have darts, table tennis, air hockey, and table football.

The dinner buffet was ok.  I enjoyed the unlimited balut most!  Haha.  After our dinner I played chess with my sister.

The morning after that, we headed to the beach to see the view.  We took some pictures and we also tried the boat thing.  We didn't go that far though. Haha.

This is the infinity pool just outside the villa.

This is the floating bar.

Acuatico did give us a large amount of relaxation.  It's a really great escape from the tiring city outside the resort.  Visit them sometime and experience the luxury of Acuatico! :)

Trip to Korea

For me, one of the best trips that we had was when we went to Korea.  Not only because I am a huge fan of Korean movies and series, but also because of the fact that everything that we saw and did there were great!  The itinerary, the food, the hotels.  All of it!  It was just as amazing as I've imagined it.  Actually, it was more amazing than I've imagined it.  Haha.  Another thing that made our trip trully great was the weather.  It was our very first time to experience snow (my sisters and I), that's why even though it was hard for us to stay outside, we still count this trip as one of the most unforgettable trips that we ever had.

Terminal 21

Mom, Hazel, and I just got back from our 2nd trip to Bangkok.  We went there because my mom got invited to be my cousin's godmother in confirmation.  So we went there and spent a couple of days with my uncle, aunt, and cousins.

After the confirmation rite last Sunday, my uncle brought us to this new mall in downtown Bangkok for a mini celebration.  It is called Terminal 21.  I am telling you, this mall is so fetch that I wasn't able to resist taking pictures even in their toilets!  Haha.  It was one of the places that I enjoyed most in Thailand.  I got to travel around the world in just one day!  Thanks to Terminal 21.  They've got all of their floors themed with different countries and cultures.  How cool is that?  Haha.  Let's take a look inside the mall, shall we? :)

The lower ground has a Caribbean theme.  This is where the gourmet market, food stalls, banks, and bookstores are located.

Take an escalator up and you'll be on their Rome-themed ground floor.

Another floor up is where the designer boutiques and beauty shops are.  Perfect for a Paris inspired floor.

Now this next floor (1st floor) is a really cute one.  It is Tokyo-themed and it is a perfect location for ladies' fashion.

The 2nd floor is London inspired decorated with red telephone boxes, Union Jack Flag, etc.  It is reserved for men's fashion.

The next floor, which is the 3rd floor, is reserved for mini-shops of shoes, bags, and accessories.  It is themed with Istanbul Market Town.

The 4th and 5th floor is both inspired by San Francisco.  It is decorated with Golden Gate Bridge, seaports, and fisherman village.  It is reserved for international food court.

The last floor is cute too.  It has a Hollywood Studio Tour concept.  Too bad I was not able to take pictures there.

I told you, the mall is awesome, right? :)  If you happen to have a trip to Bangkok, don't forget to pass by Terminal 21 and check out their cool place.  It is located in Sukhumvit Road, near Asoke Intersection, Bangkok.
