NYC: The City That Never Sleeps (3)

We allotted our last day in New York to visit some friends in New Jersey.  It was just an hour bus ride from Manhattan.  We spent almost half a day there catching up with a family friend and then we went back to New York in the afternoon.  We then went on our way to the World Trade Center site hoping that we could get in the 9/11 Memorial Museum.  But upon getting there, we saw this huge line of people with the same interest as ours.  It's already four in the afternoon by that time so we just decided to see the small 9/11 museum somewhere there.  After that, we just had some walk and picture taking.  We ran into the New York County Supreme Court in lower Manhattan where a scene from The Accidental Husband was taken.  After that, my sister and I went shopping in Forever21 located in Broadway.  There are loads of other good shops there but we had so little time.  We ate dinner there and then we headed to a grocery shop near our hotel for some last grocery shopping.  On our way there, we bought New Year's Eve headbands and eye glasses that we saw on the street.  On our grocery shopping, we bought more chocolates for friends and also some gifts for our gift grabbing with my older sister and her friends.  We also bought additional suitcase to put all the stuff that we bought.  The next day is New Year's Eve but we didn't spend it there in New York.  We spent it in Naples, Florida with my older sister.

This is me goofin' around haha
I had a really good time in New York.  It was all fun! We didn't get to spend our New Year's Eve there to witness the ball drop, but it's still better than not celebrating New Year with my Ate.  Who knows?  Next time when I finally get to earn money for myself, I'll go back there in New York with her.  Hihi.  I'll work hard for that! :)
